Lamin (or, lamen): (lam'-en) n. Magickal charm consisting of a thin metal plate used in ceremonial magick; often inscribed with sigils or symbols of a particular deity or spirit and worn around the neck low enough to cover the heart area; mostlly used by the magician to summon the spirits one wishes to evoke and command. May be worn simply to express the power, character & style of the wearer. Type of talisman.
